Win 7 Dell Vostro 3750 laptop has internal Nvidia GeForce GT 525M display controller. Win 10 install said everything would be fine, so upgraded fine. Then in replacing the internal drive with a solid state drive, had an issue that caused a clean Win 10 install, and reinstall of all Apps, etc. on new drive. Of course I lost all Dell supplied drivers, and got generic Win 10 drivers in this process. In order to drive my external monitor (Dell UltraSharp 2007WFP) at full resolution, I believe I need to re-install the Dell device driver (R307853.exe). Dell says it is not tested for Win 10 and does not support it.
Installing Win 10 over Win 7 with that driver there worked fine, as MS install took care of it, but sliding it in underneath Win 10 after the fact may be an issue - especially if I end up with no display to work with.

I have created a restore point on the hardrive, so that is there. I was unable to create a Win 10 recovery disk as I got a message: 'We can't create recovery drive on this PC. Some required files are missing....'
